In my role as a social organizer, I have gained diverse experience in areas critical to community development, including Gender and Development (GFD), Conditional Cash Grant programs, and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
Within GFD, I worked to address gender disparities, promote inclusivity, and empower women within communities. This involved organizing workshops, awareness campaigns, and fostering dialogue to create environments conducive to gender equality.
In Conditional Cash Grant programs, I played a pivotal role in community engagement. Over 1.5 years, I ensured the effective implementation of the program, verifying eligibility criteria and supporting recipients in meeting conditions. This hands-on experience enhanced my skills in program management and community relations.
Additionally, my involvement in Disaster Risk Reduction sessions further enriched my skill set. Conducting 80 sessions, I imparted knowledge on risk mitigation, emergency response, and community resilience. These sessions not only provided practical skills but also fostered a sense of collective responsibility within communities to better prepare for and respond to disasters.
Through this multifaceted experience, I have developed a holistic approach to community development, integrating gender perspectives, social assistance programs, and disaster preparedness. My commitment to fostering positive change within communities is evident in my varied roles, reflecting a comprehensive understanding of the interconnected challenges and opportunities in community development.
In my role as a social organizer in conditional cash grant programs, I actively engaged with communities, ensuring effective implementation of the program. Over a span of one and a half years, I cultivated strong interpersonal skills, collaborated with diverse stakeholders, and played a pivotal role in empowering eligible recipients to fulfill program requirements, thereby contributing to positive social impact.
I have been working as a Social Organizer in GFD project in ERRRP and also worked in Cash for work project and conducted (DRR) session, I conducted comprehensive training and awareness initiatives. Covering key aspects of risk mitigation and emergency response, the 80 sessions emphasized community resilience. Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, participants acquired crucial skills to better prepare for and respond to disasters, fostering a safer and more resilient community.
